Welcome dear readers to our very first Blog about our life in and around Friesland.
Our life is far from boring, we have much to share and therefore decided to start a blog that has nothing to do with work!
Ike already runs a Blog about her Life with Skype so no need to mention what happens there. If you really want to read please visit "Skype Lifestyle"
Anotehr Blog is about the "Plekker Descenants" and although Genealogy is a hobby, we keep this part of Ike's familie seperated!
Ike is teaching Tjep how to blog so stay tuned for what will be published in the near future!
I would like to be one of the first to wish you both success with your blog and to be allowed a little insight into what must be a restful and peaceful lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteI have a common interest with Tjep - sailing!
I spent many happy hours sailing my Laser dinghy in the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
Now - a question:
Why is one of the cats named ''Bark''?
Is that not a doggy name?
Or perhaps ''Bark'' , being a Dutch feline has the power of a dog!
I would love to know.
Best Regards,
Norman.
Hi Norman!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments.
One day we will travel to the US to meet you and Nantana, you and Tjep can talk for hours about sailing. I will send you the link to the photo's of our boat per IM.
Bark is called bark (not from barking though but the bark of a tree) because I found her 6 metres high up in a tree.
The male cat is called Antagen which is Swedish for adopted. They are brother and sister and I found them on the same day, both 3 weeks old and very ill.
They are now 10,5 years old and very healthy!
Love for you and Nantana!
